I think something is wrong with me! Came here and while having the video paused I was thinking hmm if I solve it can I claim that I have solved it on my own or maybe I have watched this video before came up with a solution, and was about to post it, then I find my comment 7 years ago with a different solution anyway here is my 7 years late solution three groups X1X2X3X4 Y1Y2Y3Y4 Z1Z2Z3Z4 weigh the X's vs the Y's if equal "not an X or Y" weigh two X's vs Z1 and Z2 if equal "not Z1 or Z2" weigh Z3 vs any X if equal "not Z3" Z4 is the odd one else Z3 is the odd one else Weigh Z1 vs an X if equal "not Z1" Z2 is the odd one else Z1 if the odd one else assume X1X2X3X4>Y1Y2Y3Y4 either we have a heavy X or a light Y weigh X1X2Y1Y2 vs ZZZZX3Y3 if X1X2Y1Y2=ZZZZX3Y3 weigh X4 vs Z if equal Y4 is the odd one else X4 is the odd one else if X1X2Y1Y2>ZZZZX3Y3 either X1 or X2 are heavy or Y3 is light weigh X1 vs X2 if equal Y3 is the odd one else the heavy one is the odd one else if X1X2Y1Y2<ZZZZX3Y3 either Y1 or Y2 are light or X3 is heavy weigh Y1 vs Y2 if equal X3 is the odd one else the light one is the odd one

The neurotransmitter research couldn't be recreated because each one is perceiving the given neurotransmitter differently based on the person's nature or emotional requirements at the moment. This is y science could be finding it hard to pin point as to "which hormone does what" since there is no standard level of it released in each person. As humans, we are born to do what is required for our survival which will bring a proper balance in these neurotransmitters or other hormones. Imbalances may be happening because we do much much more beyond that to satisfy our cravings for pleasure and excitement. More studies could help find what unusual activities lead to these imbalances

I don't drink coffee very often, but I do drink lots of diet pop. Caffeine has absolutely ZERO effect on my ability to sleep. It never helps "perk" me up nor does it give me "energy". I'm pretty sure it has no effect on me at all. I'm sick of people acting like caffeine has the same effect on everyone. I have an extremely high tolerance for ALL substances. It takes extremely high doses of almost everything for me to get any effect at all.

(Reference below!) Some researchers recently set out to investigate when we should actually stop drinking caffeine. After analysing 24 studies, they concluded that this magic number is ✨8.8 hours✨ before bedtime. Some of us may be less sensitive to caffeine (is that you?) but I tend to avoid coffee (and caffeinated sodas, energy drinks) after lunchtime. We love caffeine, but it can affect our sleep quality (as well as the time it takes to fall asleep). So just make sure your choices are working for you 🍵 Gardiner et al. (2023). I don’t think this applies to people with unmedicated ADHD. I find by about 3:30-4:00 my ability to focus on almost anything is significantly reduced. Having a coffee helps me focus on the rest of the day and the important things I do in the evenings. Yes I know I need to see a psychiatrist but I need money first.

Hiiighly Recommend Daylio as well. Been using it since 2016 everyday, sometimes with more detail, sometimes with less. Paying the one time premium is worth it imho and it's great that they now added the voice note function. Been meaning to try it since gratitude and life updates are often easier in spoken word. On the other hand...working out has been something I'm struggling with. I like doing it, but I struggle with task initiation a lot. I think I need some kind of accountability system for it, but still need to figure that out.
